PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

On-the-Job Training (OJT) provides unique opportunities for participants who already possess some job-related skills and the knowledge to "earn as they learn". By participating in training the participant acquires new skills and Knowledge.

The purpose of the on-the-job training is to place the student in the real-life, actual hotel environment in order to facilitate learning under the guidance of working supervisors and managers. The students can, thus be groomed to be physically and mentally prepared to accept the challenges of the industry and correlate theory and practice. This on-the-job training is of six- months duration. The training & placement is provided only to those students with the attendance up to 85%.The student has to be well-groomed and neatly dressed for the interview.

NIHM has its own Training and Placement Department which provides Placement Assistance to all the deserving candidates of our Institute. Placement Coordinator keeps in touch with all the leading national and international hospitality establishments to ensure the best possible employment to our students. Today, our students are working in the renowned hotels both in India and Abroad.
